There were no other interested parties or members of the general public or press in attendance.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this meeting be opened at 7:30 pm on February 5,2008 as a Public meeting of the Corporation of the Township of Gordon, pursuant to the requirements of Section 34(14.1) and 17(19) of the Planning Act for purposes of providing information to the public and to allow for public representations on an application proposing to amend the Manitoulin Official Plan for the District of Manitoulin and Zoning By-law No. 492 for the Township of Gordon, and notice of which has been duly administered according to the requirements of Ontario Regulations 543/06 and 545/06.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the Township of Gordon Public Meeting on February 5,2008 be adopted as distributed.

NOTE no individuals were present in opposition and no objections brought forward either verbally or in writing for this meeting; and all questions pertaining to the application were answered by the Clerk/Treasurer prior to this date to the satisfaction of the public.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law No 2008-04, being an adopting By-law for the purpose of amending The Official Plan for the District of Manitoulin, to redesignate the subject lands from Agricultural (A) District to Rural ® District, to permit a golf driving range/golf academy for lands located within Part of Lot 10, East Range, being Parts 1 and 2, Plan 31R-2318 and Part 1, Plan 31R-3558, in the Township of Gordon, Municipality of Gordon and Allan West, be read a first and second time this 5th day of February, 2008.
