2007-8 Building Fees

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF GORDON

BY-LAW NO. 2007-08

Being a by-law respecting Building permit fees

WHEREAS the Building Systems Committee reviewed the fees for building on February 7,2007 and amended by-law 2002-02 regarding fees as follows;

WHEREAS: Subsection 2 of Section 5 of the Building Code Act, RSO, 1990, Chapter 51, empowers council to pass certain by-law respecting building permits and inspections.

NOW THEREFORE: The Corporation of the Township of Gordon enacts the following.
Amendment to By-law #95-09 Section 4(b) # (iv) -Schedule ‘A’
Schedule ‘A’ of by-law 95-09 is hereby rescinded
Schedule ‘A’ of by-law 97-01 is hereby rescinded.

The fee for the required permit, as set out in Schedule ‘A’ of This By-law.

PERMIT FEES

CLASS OF PERMIT PERMIT FEE
1) Application Fee: $100.00
Building Permit: $.22 cents per sq. foot
$.18 cents per sq. foot for 2nd floor

2) Accessory Building $100.00- up to $10,000 in value

3) Demolition $30.00

4) Renovations Alterations to $30.00 per inspection Structural Change

5) Revision to existing permits Additional $30.00 plus
$.22 cents per sq. foot

6) Structural re-location $100.00 plus $.22 cents per sq. foot

7) Renewal $30.00 after a two year period

8) Re-visits caused by $30.00 per visit
deficiencies

9) Penalty $500.00

This bylaw shall come into force at the time of its passing by Council
