2007-23 Building Permit Fees

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF GORDON

BY-LAW NO. 2007-23

Being a by-law respecting Building permit fees

WHEREAS: Subsection 2 of Section 5 of the Building Code Act, RSO, 1990, Chapter 51, empowers council to pass certain by-law respecting building permits and inspections.

NOW THEREFORE: The Corporation of the Township of Gordon enacts the following.

Amendment to By-law #2002-02 & 2004-14.

The fee for the required permit, as set out in Schedule ‘A’ of This By-law.

Schedule ‘A”
PERMIT FEES

CLASS OF PERMIT PERMIT FEE
1) Application Fee: $150.00
Building Permit: $.40 cents per sq. foot
$.32 cents per sq. foot for 2nd floor

2) Accessory Building $150.00
$.15 cents per sq. foot
$.10 cents per sq. foot for second floor

3) Qualified Agricultural Building $150.00
(ie: hay storage, livestock facility, implement building $.08 cents per sq. foot

3) Demolition $50.00

4) Renovations Alterations to $50.00 per inspection Structural Change in addition to $150.00 application

5) Revision to existing permits Additional $50.00 plus
$.40 cents per sq. foot

6) Structural re-location $150.00 plus $.40 cents per sq. foot

7) Renewal $50.00 after a two year period

8) Re-visits caused by $50.00 per visit
deficiencies

9) Penalty $500.00
(non-compliance of fee schedule)

This bylaw shall come into force and replace any previous by-law at the time of its passing by Council
